IT Project Manager / 3rd Line Engineer Location: Downpatrick Job Type: Permanent Annual Salary: c£35,000 DOE We are excited to partner with a thriving IT Support organisation that is experiencing continued growth and expansion. We are currently seeking to add an IT Project Manager / Support Engineer to our team, focusing on providing top-tier support and project management within the SMB market, as well as handling enterprise and public sector clients with advanced solutions. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee and manage IT projects, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 environments, including migrations from Windows Server / Exchange Server / IMAP to M365. Provide third-line support across various IT domains including helpdesk, backup, security/antivirus, and networks. Utilise RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools to enhance service delivery. Configure and support cloud-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborate with both SMB and enterprise-level clients, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored IT solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven project management experience in IT, especially within Microsoft 365 environments. Microsoft Certified Administrator in Microsoft 365 or Azure. CCNA, DCNA, or similar certification with a strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and DNS. Solid knowledge of VLANs. Experience in a second-line support role or higher. Significant experience in configuring and supporting cloud-based systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
