Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Crawley, Surrey.
Salary / Benefits: £25k - £38k + Training + Benefits
A South East based specialist in Water / Air Hygiene / Legionella services is now seeking to take on a City and Guilds / WMSoc qualified Legionella Risk Assessor. You will be able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments across longstanding Local Authority, Educational, Food & Beverage, and Industrial client sites. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
2. Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company.
3. Knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
4. IT literate.
5. Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain professional relationships.
6. Able to prioritise workload in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
1. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
2. Using findings from risk assessments to produce detailed legionella management plans, ensuring clients are aware of actions to be taken to prevent legionnaires disease.
3. Providing detailed legionella reports upon completion of assessments.
4. Creating site specific schematic drawings.
5. Carrying out work in line with site specific schematic drawings.
6. Liaising with clients, ensuring to maintain and continue to build excellent rapport.
7. Adapting workday in line with company and client needs, ensuring work is completed in line with agreed time frames.
