Financial Admin Assistant Waltham Cross, Herts Salary: Competitive 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am-4:30am or 09:00am-5pm An amazing finance position has become available, due to an internal career development move, for a Financial Admin Assistant. This key role within our finance department liaises and links finance with sales and customer service, to resolve customer account issues and improve overall account management processes. Account Setup & Maintenance: Setting up of new customer accounts, ensuring all details are entered correctly and in line with company procedures Data Accuracy & Entry: Ensure the accurate and timely recording of data onto the RCS database, processing large volumes of information efficiently. Payment Processing & Allocation: Take full accountability for processing all incoming and outgoing customer payments. Reconciliation & Payment Analysis: Handle complex payments and resolve customer remittances, utilising advanced Excel skills to track, analyse and rectify payments discrepancies. Post Management: Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing post. Prioritisation & Deadlines: Prioritise tasks and workload effectively, ensuring deadlines set by the business are met. Collaboration Across Departments: Work collaboratively with other departments, including finance, customer service and sales. Resolution & Escalation: Address day-to-day issues and payment inquiries, escalating matters of concerns to the Credit Control Manager. What do I need to be considered for this role? Advanced Excel skills. Significant experience in Data processing. Will ideally have experience in cash allocation. Excellent verbal, written and listening skills. Professional telephone manner and excellent verbal communication skills. Numerate, accurate and meticulous. Ability to liaise at all levels with confidence. Benefits: Competitive salary.
