About the role:
The Security Analyst will be engaged in all aspects of a project/product lifecycle for the Identity & Access Management Platforms. This includes requirements gathering and elaboration, process analysis and mapping, functional design, iteration/implementation planning and execution, quality assurance & acceptance, data migration, release management and transition to the BAU.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Understand the various IAM tools and technologies available and be able to articulate the business requirements for IAM functions.
2. Work closely with the platform owners to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources.
3. Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
4. Work with internal customers and application teams to understand access requirements.
5. Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
6. Recommend improvements, corrections, remediation for associated projects or current internal processes.
7. Undertake the detailed business requirements gathering and documentation activities using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies as required in the relevant project or work-stream.
8. Work closely with the business and IT teams to understand and solve the business problem and develop options for the functional design & business change.
9. Elicit, define, and manage requirements to support solution implementation.
10. Develop and maintain onboarding materials and templates for projects requiring Identity and Access Management service.
11. Lead or contribute into the data integration functional design, functional mapping, and the overall data integration delivery.
About you and your skills:
1. Formal tertiary qualification preferred.
2. Experience in retail environment advantageous.
3. Able to harness information and opportunities.
4. Values specialist expertise and capitalises on the knowledge and skills of others within the organisation. Contributes own expertise to achieve outcomes for the business unit.
