Job summary We are looking to appoint a fixed term full-time (10 PA) Consultant PEC. This post has arisen to cover maternity leave. The post has a mixture of cardiology clinics and ward work across paediatrics and neonatal services. The postholder will work collaboratively with the trusts existing PEC and cardiology specialist nurse and will take park in the on call rota 1:16 across general paediatircs and neonatal services. Applicants should possess, or be within 6 months of receiving, a CCT in paediatrics and have a special interest in Paediatric cardiology at the time of commencing the appointment. The successful candidate will join a team of 16 Paediatric Consultants who share General Paediatric and neonatal work. There are also 4 SAS doctors, 4 Tier 2 Paediatric STs, 7 Tier 1 doctors, 2 CANPs and 2 Physician Associates on the acute paediatric rota in addition to Clinical Nurse Specialist for Epilepsy, Asthma and Diabetes, soon to include Cardiology.
