Systems Integration Specialist - Salford / Hybrid
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Systems Integration Specialist based out of our Salford offices.
Marlowe Fire & Security’s Systems Integration Specialist’s Responsibilities:
* Work closely with both the IT Integration Team and users of the business.
* Ensure the group can meet its corporate objectives through the provision of innovative solutions, focusing on data, system usage, training, and effective reporting.
* Focus on optimisation of CASH4Windows across all Fire Division Businesses.
* Provide training for employees on CASH4Windows across all Fire Division Businesses.
* Assist the Application Development Team with the rollout and training of new systems, processes, and reports.
* Write clear and comprehensive documentation for processes, reports, systems, functions, etc., to support and deliver new systems/technologies and training initiatives.
* Prepare, review, and execute mass uploads and changes of data.
* Identify data issues and work with stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies.
* Extract and present data from the Group’s core business systems and analyze the data to support revised business practices.
* Cleansing of data to ensure accurate reporting across the business.
* Provide technical support, training, and problem analysis for the Group’s core business systems, both office and field-based.
* Support users across the Group with the implementation of new information systems.
* Support business users in developing detailed training plans and conduct training sessions to improve the usage of the IT systems.
* Communicate information systems plans to business users, encouraging end ownership and adoption of these systems.
* Identify areas of opportunity to reduce paper usage within the business and improve overall productivity.
* Be a visible leader of the Integration, Alignment, and Commercial Team.
* Influence all of Service Delivery, Integration & IT and the wider company as necessary.
* Be a Subject Matter Expert in the business.
* Provide competent support and expert advice to stakeholders across the organization.
* Work with any external third party to help accelerate our drive to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service.
* Monitor and review project performance, alerting the Project Manager/Programme Manager to any potential areas of concern.
* Manage the quality of project documentation, ensuring all project products are produced to high standards.
* Facilitate the governance process, ensuring questions are raised to the correct governance forums and decisions are effectively communicated and recorded.
Qualifications:
* Personality – Energy, Drive, and Enthusiasm to succeed.
* Excellent working knowledge of CASH4Windows.
* Knowledge of other CRM packages and accountancy software, e.g., Sage, Xero, Quick Books.
* Experience in Excel and Office solutions to deliver reporting requirements.
* Advanced Excel skills and good general Microsoft Office skills.
* Attention to detail when performing data analysis.
* Excellent documentation skills, both IT and business process documentation.
* Excellent training skills with the ability to create, design, and deliver multi-user classroom sessions.
* Experience supporting users within a Microsoft Technology environment.
* Clear and confident communicator, effective team player, with the ability to work with end users of varying IT abilities.
* Ability to write queries in SQL and build refreshable and automated reports.
* Review and build functions in databases.
* Knowledge and ability to write in Python, not essential but desirable.
* Demonstrate initiative and discretion in handling complex, sensitive, and/or confidential information.
* Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
* Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Able to manage the demands of numerous tasks.
* Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment aligned to our company strategy.
* Respectful to others, customers, colleagues, Managers & Directors alike.
* A full driving licence is essential as there is a requirement to travel to other group locations.
