About the role
As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations.
* Forecasting sales and developing sales strategies and methods evaluating their effectiveness.
* Acting as a representative for the organisation during customer meetings and presentations.
* Maintaining customer accounts and records of sales.
* Reporting and providing feedback to management.
Our standard working hours are Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm. Yes, you read that right, no evenings, no weekends and an early finish on a Friday!
Your experience
This position would suit an experienced Business Development Manager and is the perfect role for someone with an impressive track record in a sales role, who is confident with a consultative sell, and who can demonstrate success in new business development and client acquisition.
Other requirements include:
* Great confidence and the ability to accept rejection and maintain a positive mindset.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Active listening skills and the ability to understand the customer’s needs.
* Ability to manage own workload and diary effectively using own initiative.
* Proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office.
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* In-depth understanding of an organisation’s products and unique selling facts.
* Excellent data analysis skills.
* Full clean UK driving licence with the flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK when appropriate and able.
