Job Title: Warehouse Operator (with Forklift driving)

Shift: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm (rotating weekly) – Monday-Friday – flexibility will be a requirement to meet department demands.
Salary: £32,963.60 (inclusive of contractual overtime) + potential bonus and other fantastic benefits.
Position Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join our Logistics department at our state-of-the-art coffee manufacturing plant in Dalston, Cumbria. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will support the shift operation led by the shift lead operator, complying with Safety, Quality and Production standards to help deliver customer satisfaction.
You will be a strong team player with a practical approach to your work and a great can-do attitude. The successful candidates will complete a month-long training programme, enabling you to support the daily operations in the department. You will also be responsible for carrying out daily compliance checks, including safety, cleaning, and area organisation ownership. We are looking for self-motivated people who can work both individually and as part of a team.

As an excellent communicator, you must also be a proactive and responsible individual with drive and enthusiasm. You will be well organised with a sense of urgency to respond rapidly to problems and achieve departmental goals. Your proactivity and creativity will help you contribute ideas, improving the areas of your responsibility and rectifying problems encountered during your shift.
Candidates must have a valid in-date counterbalance forklift licence and must have recent/current experience driving forklifts.

You will not work bank holidays in this role; however, if your manager requests you to work on a bank holiday, you will be paid double time.
