Qualifications:
* Education: Graduate of an accredited OT program
* License: Current OT license in California
* Certifications: Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid
* Skills: Strong oral and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, valid driver's license with a clean record
Competencies:
* Knowledge of early childhood development, therapy techniques, and assistive technology
* Punctual and dependable
* Excellent customer service
* Ethical and professional conduct
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Your Fun-Filled Duties:
* Conduct assessments to determine skill levels and progress
o Determine current skill levels
o Determine the individual's progress in meeting the outcomes outlined on the IFSP/IEP/IPP and previous assessment
o Assist in identifying family/educators/caregiver concerns
o Suggest ideas to be addressed in the new IFSP/IEP/IPP
* Plan and implement engaging therapy sessions
o Train families/caregivers/teachers on techniques to help meet their individual's identified needs.
* Train families and caregivers in effective techniques
* Maintain clear and timely documentation
* Participate in meetings and in-service education
* Supervise Certified OT Assistants as needed
