Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled SEN / SEND tutors to provide one-to-one tutoring to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Suffolk. As an SEN / SEND tutor, you will be part of a child-centred company committed to improving the educational journey of young people with SEND and other needs.

About the Role
This role involves providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision. You will work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring
* Providing engaging sessions that meet the young person's needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
* Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
