We are looking for a Female Support Worker to join our fabulous Domiciliary Care Team based in Yaxley on a permanent, part time basis (25 hours a week). DRIVER ESSENTIAL - Yaxley is situated on the outskirts of Peterborough. As you are likely to support more than one person a day and travel a short distance from each venue, a driver with access to a vehicle they can use for work is essential. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, a Sleep-In and bank holidays. Morning shifts start as early as 07:00 and evening shifts finish at 19:30 or 22.00. Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various shifts and venues. About our Service Our Yaxley Team support adults with learning disabilities to access the community, maintain their homes, and just live a normal and active life. Support we provided is varied and may involve support with medication and health matters, meal planning and preparation, budgeting and banking, or support with social activities, trips out to cafes, cinema, or swimming. The person you support may have their own goals/ambitions and just need a little help to achieve these. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
