Your role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work on the fast-moving natural environment agenda within the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
Running for 12 months, this role would be an ideal opportunity for someone seeking experience on a priority agenda for the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. This post is key to driving forward our ambition for a greener Greater Manchester, with a thriving natural environment.
This role is within the natural environment team whose wider aim is to maintain and enhance GM’s natural environment and the multiple benefits that provides including to GM’s economy and society. The team works across a range of stakeholders and is leading and contributing to several key projects to deliver this vision.
You will be leading key projects within the team as we finalise and gear up for delivery of our first Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Greater Manchester, and deliver projects on the ground to make Greater Manchester a greener city-region.
