First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Small Arms Supervisor on a permanent basis due to growth located at their RAF Halton (Aylesbury) depot.
As a Small Arms Supervisor you’ll be responsible for the daily management of the RAF Halton Armoury Small Arms maintenance. The Small Arms Supervisor is responsible along with the OME Supervisor for the administration of the Armoury and Range personnel.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for management of the small arms maintenance bay, small arms storage rooms and V & A areas and Maintenance, modification and repair of all armaments equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the RAF Halton armoury facility for Small Arms & associated equipment as the Senior Equipment Manager and the management of all section component reports for small arms and associated equipment faults.
2. Implement of all regulations concerning documentation, storage, safety, issues / receipts and maintenance of small arms (SA).The storage issue and receipt of all weapons held in the Armoury.
3. Become appointed as the Deputy Unit Range Safety Officer (URSO) for the RAF Halton ranges and to assist the URSO in the execution of his duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
4. Previous armoury experience
5. Previous supervisory experience
6. General Engineering NVQ level 3:
7. Computer literate
8. Stakeholder engagement previous experience
9. Knowledge of health and safety requirements

Salary: £31,809 + Excellent overtime opportunities
