Position Summary:
Highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to manage and coordinate programs within the Biomedical Programs Office in the Department of Medical Education. This role will involve administrative oversight of interdisciplinary academic programs under the direction of the Program Director(s), with responsibilities including the development and continuous management of program objectives.
To administratively manage one or more program/s within the School of Medicine (SOM). To independently design, develop and administer program content for the assigned program. To establish program objectives, maintain policies and procedures, serve as liaison between the program and internal/external stakeholders. To provide administrative support to faculty, staff, students and the outside community. To manage assigned program fiscal operations, develop and provide reports and/or analyses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate programs within the Biomedical Programs office in the Department of Medical Education.
2. Administratively manage interdisciplinary academic programs under the direction of a Program Director or Directors.
3. Participate in the development and ongoing management of program objectives.
4. Oversee recruitment and retention efforts for student populations associated with the programs.
5. Provide student-facing services and support international cooperation with partner universities.
6. Exercise independent judgment to achieve objectives in the program plan.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $45,395 - $73,770
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
