Job summary We currently have an exciting permanent contract available as an IBD CNS. You will join a motivated and established team in providing care for a group of patients with complex and varied needs within the speciality of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The Team work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team including nursing, medical and AHPs. Care is delivered in both inpatient and outpatient settings across the LTHT. As an IBD nurse you would support patients in a variety of different clinics as well as seeing inpatients and providing advice on the helpline. The successful candidate will be able to deliver a high quality patient focused service within the present day NHS. You will be enthusiastic, pro - active, demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and be a role model within the organisation. Relevant experience is desirable but not essential. The team provide cover and support to the wards and outpatients 5 days a week with a desire to extend to a 7 day service in the future. We administer medications at Chapel Allerton Hospital and monitor patients on home treatment.
