We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Executive to join the Sales and Marketing team at The Mandrake. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting the hotels brand, increasing online and offline visibility in conjunction with our Digital Marketing and social media support, and driving revenue through marketing strategies. This position requires a creative thinker with strong creative and graphic skills, exceptional communication abilities, with an understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
These include but are not limited to the following;
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the hotel rooms, restaurant, outlets, events, and other services.
* Collaborate with all departments to create annual marketing plans and budgets.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
* Collaborate with the sales and reservations teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
* Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
* Work with photographers, videographers and influencers to create high-quality promotional content.
* Write and edit marketing copy for brochures, websites, social media, and other collateral.
Digital Marketing & Content Management:
* Manage the hotels website content and ensure it is optimized for search engines (SEO).
* Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to drive customer retention and bookings.
Public Relations & Partnerships:
* To build, maintain and increase brand awareness.
* Coordinate with PR company press releases, media visits, and PR events.
* Attend all relevant sales, marketing, digital marketing and PR meetings.
Events & Promotions:
* Assist in the planning and execution of hotel events and promotional activities.
* Develop promotional offers and packages in collaboration with the Sales team.
* Track the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor activities.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.
What we're looking for?
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar marketing roleMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
* Familiarity with hotel booking engines, OTAs, and CRM systems is preferred.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).
* Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
* Proven experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize campaign performance.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
