Purpose:
TheIT Project Coordinator will play an important role in the deliveryof IT change for the organisation. The IT project portfolio isvaried encompassing cloudbased solution implementations fordifferent departments IT infrastructure and application upgradesand migrations and process transformation through the Microsoft 365suite.
The IT Project Coordinator will supportthe Head of IT Projects and Technical Project Manager and willpartake in a broad range of daytoday activities including trackingprogress of project execution creation of insightful managementreporting and supporting continuous process improvement across theIT Department. They will directly communicate with stakeholders andsuppliers as needed.
The organisation isgeographically dispersed comprising of a comprehensive ITinfrastructure focused on a Citrix virtual desktop deliveringseveral lineofbusiness systems which reach out to all staff.Primarily based in London the IT Department is responsible for theentire IT infrastructure service desk support corporate systems ITprovisioning information security telephony (landline and mobile)IT project management and managementinformation.
Keyrequirements:
* Understand analyse andreport on the status of projects within the IT ProjectPortfolio.
* Support the IT Projects team withproject management processes such as risk issue dependency andresource management.
* Support delivery of the ITproject portfolio by liaising with stakeholders from across theorganisation
* Support other functional andoperational areas such as testing documentation and training asrequired.
* Undertake management of smallprojects where required through the entire project lifecycle withthe support of the Head of IT Projects
* Followthe processes and standards for project management anddocumentation and promote best practice across the wider ITteam
* Previous experience of working in an ITenvironment where you have coordinated information and supportedprojects
* Awareness of project managementprocesses with some experience of successfully managing smallprojects.
* A strong desire to build a careerwithin IT Project Management.
* Excellentcommunication skills both written andverbal
* Good Microsoft applicationknowledge.
* Ability to summarise and organiseinformation.
* Ability to produce clear andconcise documentation.
* Good interpersonal andnegotiation skills and politicalawareness.
* Ability to work both as part of ateam and proactively on owninitiative.
* Capacity to forge strong businessrelationships with external suppliers.
* Possessthe ability to work to tight deadlines and work well underpressure.
* Ability to assimilate and interpretadvice from both technical and non technicalcolleagues.
* Well organised and methodical withgood time management skills.
* Are educated todegree level or equivalent in a professional or relateddiscipline.
* A positive outlook and generalapproach to day to day work

* A desire to work collaboratively in ateam drawing on the expertise of colleagues to ensure that therequirements of the organisation as a whole aremet
* A Project Management qualification(desirable)
* Qualifications in Microsoftapplications (desirable)
* Experience ofdelivering projects to agreed time cost and qualitycriteria.
