We are an innovative and growing company actively seeking skilled engineers for high precision and high profile machining.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we have immediate opportunities for skilled and experienced CNC Turners to join our team. The successful candidates will work primarily with Aerospace & Motorsports components, joining a long-standing team based at our works in High Wycombe, Bucks.
Responsibilities:
1. Run, set & operate CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls
2. Generating new programs as per drawing requirements
3. Setting tools & producing components to operator layout sheets as provided
4. Producing components up to 200mm diameter
5. Adjustments to tool offsets and program editing
6. Ability to select, set and change machine tools
7. Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
The Person
The successful candidates will be qualified, fully-skilled engineers, with a minimum of three years CNC Turning experience. They will be able to carry out first inspections of their own work, and ideally will have experience of working to the AS9100 quality standard.
To be considered for this role you must have:
1. Three years CNC programming/setting and operating experience
2. Working knowledge of Fanuc programming would be advantageous
3. Experience of producing conforming first-offs to drawing and quality specifications
4. Experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of parts
5. Experience of working to tight tolerances
The ability to work on your own initiative, good communication skills, and attention to detail are a must.
