Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Overtime
Rota: Monday – Friday - DAYS
About the Company:
My client, a large Plant/Machinery Fleet Company, is looking for a qualified and experienced Workshop Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of engineers and ensure the smooth operation of a busy workshop.
Main Responsibilities:
As the Workshop Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Routine Maintenance: Overseeing the routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery such as excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, etc.
* Engineer Support: Providing support to the current engineers within the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and quality work.
* Health and Safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring the team follows these guidelines.
* Fault Finding: Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with machinery to ensure effective repairs.
* Inspections: Conducting inspections of engineers' work to maintain high standards.
* Paperwork: Completing and managing paperwork for each job to ensure accurate records and compliance.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Qualifications: A professionally recognised qualification in plant maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the plant/machinery sector is essential.
