Job Title: Assistant Manager - Planned works Head Office Location - Brindley Place, Birmingham B1 2JB Job Location: Birmingham Salary: £38,000 - £42,000pa Contract type: Permanent Working hours: 39 hours About the role The primary responsibility of this role is to support the management team in delivering kitchens and bathroom as part of the capital works works program, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. The role involves ensuring that safe working practices are consistently followed by both operatives and subcontractors. Additionally, the post holder will assist with the deployment of trade staff to meet service demands and help manage contractors and suppliers. The role also includes overseeing property repairs and maintenance, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The post holder will be responsible for conducting repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices. About you The ideal candidate will have experience supervising and monitoring workforce performance, conducting regular on-site assessments, and delivering toolbox talks on all aspects of the service. This includes the management of materials and ensuring that tasks are completed in accordance with the project timeline, quality standards, and resident expectations. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage their workload effectively to meet deadlines.
