The Market Hall Museum
The 17th Century Market Hall stands in the heart of our historic town. The museum, shop and café within are popular destinations for both locals and visitors to Warwick. Nearly 100,000 visitors per year visit us to see our full-sized brown bear, live observation beehive, and stories from across the County.
Market Hall Shop
Market Hall Shop and Visitor Welcome is the first port of call for all our visitors. Members of the public will stop to ask for directions, about the museum, or will visit to purchase from our gift shop. The Market Hall Shop offers a unique shopping experience in Warwick, stocking a wide range of toiletries, toys, local honey, and souvenirs.
The Role
Our team objective is to deliver a consistent and enjoyable visitor experience, whilst generating essential income for Market Hall Museum.
Your role will be to welcome visitors as they enter the museum, monitor and maintain the retail area, and provide outstanding levels of customer service to all our users. This will involve providing information on our events and activities, creating and merchandising retail displays, stock monitoring and proactively selling our range to customers.

Days off – Sundays and Mondays, with one Saturday off a month.
Please note - we may consider adjustments to the retail post hours to fit caring commitments if required (e.g. 11:15-14:45 to meet school pick-up, please note any requests in your application).
Key Requirements:
Confident speaking to members of the public and on your own initiative, and passionate about retail, you will be proactive and motivated to deliver excellent customer service. Full in-house training given.
