Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) is a dynamic client-centric practice within Marsh UK and Ireland that places and manages a range of innovative portfolio solutions across Marsh Practices. MPS comprises of 120 dedicated professionals providing a range of intermediary services to insurer clients including management information, insights and analysis.
What can you expect?
You can expect to work within the Digital and Analytics team within MPS. We are a dynamic and engaged team, responsible for supporting the analytical capability and operations for multiple facilities across MPS. Specifically, the role sits within the Cat Modelling and Aggregates team, providing niche services to insurers participating on a number of facilities. The role will suit someone that has had a few years in the industry or is looking to get back into it after a break. You can expect to be supported in your role as you learn and deepen your knowledge through on-the-job training, as well as support for professional qualifications.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, insurers, and third-party vendors. The role will also involve liaising with colleagues and brokers from different teams across Marsh globally to seek additional information in order to resolve queries. Other activities include producing contracted analytical reports and any ad-hoc reports required by the Client or Marsh internal practices.

We will rely on you to:
* Act as a day-to-day operational liaison point between Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) and third-party vendors, attending regular meetings and keeping stakeholders informed.
* Conduct Marginal Impact Analyses and other pre-bind checks as may be required using tools such as Sequel Impact and Risk Modeller (RMS) across multiple lines of business.
* Produce monthly and ad-hoc aggregate reports for carriers and attend client dashboard meetings.
* Be responsible for updating Workflow trackers for the different MPS facilities using internal systems.
* Be responsible for monitoring and answering queries raised via the RMS query portal; where required, and closing these down with the relevant teams.
* Ensuring risks are made available for our third-party vendor to process risks post-bind.
* Monitoring and prioritising material endorsements via a tracker.
* Enter and maintain aggregate and exposure data into aggregate/cat modelling systems (Sequel Impact/RMS), as required.
What you need to have:
* Attention to detail and good organisation skills.
* An understanding of the Insurance industry, Aggregates reporting and Cat Modelling.
* Effective communication skills and confidence to liaise with underwriters, third-party vendors and internal stakeholders.
What makes you stand out?
* Commenced or completed CII qualifications.
* Experience with Property and Upstream Energy lines of business would be beneficial.
* Experience using RMS Risk Modeller and/or Sequel Impact.
