To help us raise vital income, we’re looking for an Ecommerce Executive to support all aspects of ecommerce trading, delivery of marketing campaigns and customer acquisition plans to drive traffic, conversion and sales. About the role The Ecommerce Executive supports the Retail Content Manager with ecommerce trading and delivery of marketing activity, from briefing through to evaluation and recommendation. This role is responsible for briefing and deployment of products for the online RNLI shop and across other digital retail channels, ensuring all web content is accurate and fully optimised for search (SEO) and user experience, alongside managing the set-up of product and campaign collection pages to support launch of marketing campaigns across print, online, media and paid search and social, driving traffic and optimising conversions (CRO). The Ecommerce Executive works closely with retail and marketing teams, internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximise output against budget and optimise sales turnover and customer engagement across all platforms. You'll display excellent attention to detail with a positive approach to collaboration across functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving and can use their analytical skills to translate data into tangible actions that will inform strategy for online sales growth. To be considered for the role as our Ecommerce Executive you will need: Demonstrable experience of managing digital content for Shopify, from briefing to deployment, creating engaging product and collection pages that drive conversion Understanding and experience of using a content management system to manage and maintain product data Experience of managing relationships with internal departments and external suppliers to provide information and systems support The ability to work cross departmentally and as part of a multi-functional team is essential Comfortable with following processes, making recommendations and prioritising workload to meet multiple critical path deadlines Able to undertake a variety of task-based projects across a multitude of channels and streams We are looking for an Ecommerce Executive that is highly motivated, with excellent attention to detail and who enjoys the challenge of optimising product and collection pages to support delivery of product launches and marketing campaigns that engage customers and supporters in shops and online.
