As a Data Science Lead, you'll lead on delivering technical solutions for Roke's National Security Customers, focussing on Data Services and defining novel technical approaches. Your teams will include a mix of technical abilities including data engineering, machine learning, cloud, DevOps and software engineering skills.

As a Data Science Lead, customer engagement will be a large part of your role, playing a key part in the customer consulting, presales and business development strategy; with the opportunity to prepare and contribute to technical proposals and bids.
The Key Requirements
Ideally experience in a number of areas, including some of the below;
* Designing and building scalable data platforms
* Analytical techniques for extracting insight from a variety of data sources
* Visualisation of complex data
* Machine learning
* At least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C++)
* DevOps techniques for supporting repeatable deployment and testing
* Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP)
* Experience with Agile and Agile leadership roles.

You'll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
