Working Schedule: 37 hours a week total
The working week for the first 6 months will be full time at college (5 days).
Once college is complete, the working week at Thales will be 4 days (Mon-Thu).

As a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice, you will work to develop a wide range of skills over a four-year long programme. Manufacturing Apprentices are based in the Industry sector of Thales Glasgow, where you will work to support the industry work cells to develop, assemble and test cutting edge technology and also maintain our currently supported high-end technology. You will also develop your “Essential Skills” (soft skills) which include working behaviours, communication and team working elements.
Apprentice Programme:
These positions are for a full Modern Apprenticeship programme culminating in the attainment of an SVQ PEO Level 2, Diploma 7 and an HNC or NC Level Academic qualification.
On completion of the 4-year programme, successful candidates would achieve fully qualified Engineering status.
Requirements:
To access the NC level training you require 5 standards (Level 1-3) or 5 National Level 5 grades including English and Maths. To access the HNC Level Training, you require a minimum of two Highers in English and Maths at a level A or B pass.
Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the 4-year programme.
