With headquarters in Copenhagen and ten overseas offices spanning from Las Vegas to Melbourne, we operate in a highly global environment – and things are moving fast Your opportunity Working from our facility in Castle Donington, Derby, you will play an important role in the TP Aerospace Group and be responsible to perform component maintenance servicing activities in Aircraft Wheels and Brakes Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO). Your tasks will revolve around the daily operations in strict accordance with the company’s high-quality standards. This includes: Read and understand company policies and procedures, Work Instructions (WI), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Standard Practice Manual (SPM) and other operating procedure manuals. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of process paperwork and parts control. Ensure the production area is always clean and tidy. Disassembly of aircraft wheels and demount of tires. Cleaning of aircraft wheels and hardware (bearing and small parts). Removing paint of the wheel hubs by utilizing recommended machineries and methods. Preassembly of wheel hubs. Assembly of aircraft wheels. Removing paint from brake unit by utilizing recommended machineries and methods. Carryout other tasks when required in the workshop. Find ways to continuously improve processes within department. Work to strict company health and safety policies. Know and understand risk assessment associated with task, including any task risk assessments or COSHH Assessment referenced in the WI. We seek a team member that can identify with the below: Ideally a few years’ experience from the aviation industry or from a fast-paced production environment. Don’t have the experience? not to worry, for the right candidate training will be provided, you just need to have hands on experience, be proactive and willing to learn. Ability to read and comprehend drawings and technical publications to perform duties in compliance with customer requirements. General knowledge of precision measuring tools, disassembly, assembly, blasting and cleaning machineries. English and Math GCSE or equivalent with 1 or more years in a related field. You can navigate and process computer-based work processing programs. Ability to follow instructions efficiently and accurately and have a safety conscious approach to work.
