Title: Framework Commercial Manager The Framework Commercial Manger is responsible for maintaining and managing the Framework contracts as well as providing a point of contact for all team members to obtain advice on the understanding and application of the framework contracts and underlying call-off NEC 4 contracts throughout all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work 2020. You will have a strong construction / infrastructure background in design and construction as well as significant commercial/contract management experience. A well-rounded knowledge of the terms and conditions of the NEC4 suit of contracts is required, not only a working knowledge of the clauses but a good understanding of the intent, interdependencies and potential application thereof. What We Need Pro-active and self-motivated approach, with demonstrable contract management experience on complex programmes/portfolios of work in leadership positions Robust commercial knowledge, ability to shape procurements to ensure best value and equitable risk share; and post contract manage those contracts in the collaborative spirit of the NEC including management of change and stakeholder management Strong analytical capabilities, being able to independently analyse all types of contract information and especially cost build-ups and the interdependencies of a tendered price, programme, activity schedule / bill of quantities, risk register and contract strategy. Clear concise communication capabilities, being able to report analysis and findings clearly and concisely as appropriate to senior management, commercial officers, project managers, contractors and consultants taking into consideration their requirements and understanding of the situation Qualifications Degree qualified in a construction related subject Chartered professional in a construction related discipline Relevant project management qualification e.g. PRINCE or APM Relevant procurement or commercial management qualification e.g. CIPS or IoSM Security Requirements You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance. Location This position is hybrid with some time spent onsite (Helensburgh), at our Client’s office (Glasgow City Centre) and at home.
