As Stock Team Leader you will work as an integral member of the Stock Management Team to maintain and improve all aspects of the Normanton and external Out base (3rd party Storage) stock integrity. Managing and controlling the risks associated with PPE, ICU and BAU stock within the network, you will ensure robust processes are in place in a rapidly expanding network, drive world class service to our customers through the implementation of Unipart Logistics stock excellence. As part of your key responsibilities you’ll: ·Be responsible for the implementation of Unipart Logistics Storage and Stock Excellence principles and both in the physical process and through the WMS ·Ensure that controls are robust, deliver excellent service and are reviewed on a regular basis with operational teams ·Drive the business to operational excellence by utilising the Unipart Way Principles, tools and techniques, ensuring all agreed SLA & KPI’s are consistently achieved ·Coordinate and facilitate the planning and delivery of all stock count processes and stock placement projects ·Manage the stock team operative’s performance, absence and holidays ·Analyse and maintain accurate and robust daily, weekly and monthly reporting ·Manage customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service ·Ensure Health, Safety and Environment standards are maintained, and local improvement initiatives are supported ·Work with the external Outbase supplier(s) to implement and maintain robust stock control procedures, whilst ensuring these are being followed by all areas of their operation ·Maintain and report on KPIs for the department for daily, weekly and monthly basis ·Support the Outbase Stock Inventory manager with data requests, audit trails and ensure KPI’s are consistently achieved ·Liaise with the Outbase supplier to identify, using Root Cause Analysis, any process failure issues, report and remedy using project plans, investigation trackers and utilise the tools and techniques of the Unipart Way ·Perform audit style checks, verification counts, and support twice yearly counts at Outbase supplier sites as required by the business ·Ensure a standard approach for investigations is maintained by utilising internal tools and techniques ·Work with the external Outbase supplier where applicable, to implement, control and manage empty location reporting, feedback to the Operation / Out base supplier as required ·Communicate at all levels on subjects across the business (internally & externally) including Finance and Demand Planning functions ·Follow and comply with the respective H&S regulations, environmental and quality management systems on Unipart Logistics & Out base sites ·Be flexible with all field-based activity / Out base supplier site visits ·Understand Profiled PI process and the business importance ·Inspire others by showing enthusiasm and determination to achieve required standards ·Understand Commercial issues, and be aware of all SLA’s in place, ensuring they are met About You We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role ·Work well in a team and good leadership skills ·An understanding of Warehouse Management Systems ·Ability to work to targets and timescales ·Previous experience in a Stock based role ·Analytical with an ability to problem solve ·Experience of Google Sheets, Google Hangout and Microsoft Teams ·Experience supervising small teams or ready to take the next step ·Experience within the health sector is an advantage ·Full Driving License Our recruitment and selection process has been developed to ensure that it is consistent, fair and provides equality of opportunity - all selection decisions are based solely on technical and behavioural competencies.
