Pay rate: $17/hr
Shift: 1st (7am-3:30pm) Monday-Friday, some overtime may be required
Responsibilities
What's a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
1. Verifying process parameters of check sheets after the operator has completed them
2. Performing inspections of parts involving check fixtures
3. Conducting inspections of spot welds, GMAW welds, and Laser welds
4. Providing feedback on all acceptable finished goods and quarantining problematic finished goods for QA analysis
5. Notifying management immediately when any quality issue or test result falls outside of documented requirements
6. Addressing day-to-day quality issues through resolution
7. Assisting with special projects as assigned, both independently and within a team
8. Working closely with the shop floor to advise on quality expectations
9. Providing other assistance to Quality Plant Management as requested
10. Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications

3. Can lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally
4. Can follow written instructions and perform detailed and accurate work
5. Are able to use standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and scales
6. Have specific vision abilities required for close vision and the ability to adjust focus
7. Can use a computer to record the results of checks
8. Have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
9. Possess excellent organizational skills
10. Have the ability to analyze and interpret information
11. Are a self-starter and/or team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skills
12. Maintain a courteous and professional manner when interacting with all employees or during conflict resolution

Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2. 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

1. Knowledge of computers and computer-based equipment
2. Knowledge of basic quality control
3. Skills in using basic measuring devices
4. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
5. Physical ability to perform teardown
