Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.28 an hour; this increases to £15.41 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do.
It takes a great Shift Leader to support our team and keep things running smoothly. As a Shift Leader, you’ll:
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store.
* Be there for customers, listening to them and ensuring they leave satisfied.
* Look for ways to improve service, including coaching your colleagues.
* Guide and support your colleagues in-store, ensuring safety.
* Maintain a great understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering improvements.
* Lead by example in everything you do.

* Support your colleagues, ensuring they deliver daily priorities.
* Open and close the store, ensuring safety.
* Be the go-to person for day-to-day queries in the absence of a manager.
* Ensure the store is clean and well-presented.
* Support managers in coordinating events.
* Provide great customer service.
* Keep the team informed on communications and changes.
* Stay knowledgeable about store performance.
* Coordinate store improvements.
* Follow health and safety procedures.
* Recognise and celebrate great service within the team.
* Build strong relationships with colleagues to create a positive atmosphere.
* Communicate clearly and keep your team informed.
* Take the lead in the absence of your Manager.
* Make good decisions and handle change effectively.
* Motivate your team to deliver beyond expectations.
* Be curious and look for opportunities to improve service.
