Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedSurvey and Subsea Managerto lead and manage our offshore survey and subsea operations. The ideal candidate will have a strongGeophysical and Offshore Positioning backgroundand a proven track record in coordinating and delivering complex offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage survey and positioning operations across multiple offshore projects.
* Oversee the planning and execution of offshore survey projects.
* Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
* Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Prepare and review technical documentation, including but not limited to survey reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Support the development and integration of new technologies and survey techniques.
* Tender preparation and review.
* Departmental financial reporting and budget management.
Requirements
* Degree in Hydrographic Survey, or a related field.
* Minimum of [10] years’ experience in offshore survey and/or subsea operations.
* Strong technical knowledge in seabed mapping, acoustic positioning and surface positioning techniques.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
* Strong experience with offshore survey techniques and equipment.
* Eligible to reside and work in the UK.
Desirable
* Knowledge of HSE practices in offshore environments.
* Chartered status or working towards chartership is an advantage.
* Experience in business development
* Experience of budget management and cost control
* Experience of tender preparation and support
