Job summary We are excited to offer an opportunity for a full time Senior Administration post within our Learning and Development Team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role will involve leading on all aspects of learning administration supporting the wider Learning and Development service which forms part of the People and Organisation Development directorate. The successful candidate will lead on administration tasks, in a proactive, supportive and solution focused way, offering a friendly and informative service to staff across the Trust when they have any training queries. You will work independently using your initiative as well as playing a key role in the Learning Administration team. The successful candidate will support the team in providing an excellent service to the Trust. You will liaise with staff members across the Trust so good communication is essential. The ability to work across multiple IT systems is also necessary as the Trust's Learning Management System (ESR) will be used on a daily basis. Main duties of the job The main duties for the role include: Providing professional senior administrative support to the Learning & Development service, including course & session administration for the Trust's internal training & development programmes. Providing IT support to staff accessing the Trust's Learning Management System (ESR) and those who book training rooms using the internal online platform. Dealing with first hand more detailed queries via telephone, Microsoft Teams and the shared Learning Admin mailbox. Contributing to the planning and development of the service/ department as a core member of the team to improve processes and functions where possible.
