If you're enthusiastic and love working with people, we'd love to hear from you Hourly rate: £12.00 per hour Key Results Summary responsibilities/outcomes All Hospitality Assistants Creates a welcoming environment for residents and customers in our village restaurants with a focus on customer service and providing a wide variety of food and drinks. Builds a rapport with residents. Provides a café/barista service in the village restaurants. Serves customers using the EPOS. Responsible for day-to-day cleanliness, hygiene and washing up after a food service. Safely closes down the kitchen at the end of the day in line with protocols in preparation for the next day. Removes waste. Other Skills and Qualifications Essential Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices Knowledge of health and safety principles Good standard of general education Desirable Barista trained Food hygiene qualification level 2 Diploma (or NVQ) level 1 Catering/Food Service or equivalent Experience working in a busy café/restaurant environment Experience of working with older people Experience using an EPOS The role Being in one of our catering teams means you'll be providing hot, healthy and satisfying food not only for residents, but also for visitors and your fellow colleagues. Within the catering team there are a range of roles, including head chefs, sous chefs, commis chefs, catering assistants and hospitality support workers.
