Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the support service.
2. Provide active support in the continued development of the service.
3. Focus on achieving the highest levels of independence for the people requiring support.
4. Organise and model support in an innovative, person-centred, and flexible way.
5. Provide motivational leadership and direction to your team.
6. Build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
7. Implement the organisation's vision and values to deliver a first-class service.
What you will need:
1. Experience in managing care services for adults with learning disabilities.
2. Effective communication and the ability to influence others.
3. At least a QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care.
4. Knowledge and experience of the social care sector.
5. A passion for supporting people to live an enriched life and fulfil their potential.
6. Understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles.
7. Knowledge of health and safety legislation in a social care setting.
8. Understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice.
9. Flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required.
10. A full clean driving license and willingness to travel for meetings and training.
