Job Summary As a key member of the Product Management Group (PMG) you will be responsible for two key aspects of the IQGeo product portfolio. Firstly, you will be responsible for implementing and managing license management solutions across the product portfolio and, closely related, the implementation, collection and analysis of data relating to product usage, adoption and success. The second key aspect is the definition and implementation of a strategy related to data across the IQGeo product ecosystem. This will include cross-product capabilities around data management, working with 3 rd party data providers and delivering additional customer value from the data within the IQGeo product portfolio. This technical product management role is highly cross-functional - you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales and Customer Service Operations and you will need to create strong working relationships and influence across these teams. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. In time this role may expand into cover the typical range of product operations responsibilities supporting product management within a successful software company. The Technical Product Manager role will execute activities such as gathering and prioritizing market and customer requirements, defining and executing the roadmap, working closely with engineering, sales, delivery, marketing, and customer support to ensure recurring revenue order goals and customer business goals are met. Duties/Responsibilities Be responsible for prioritizing feature backlogs, coordinated with the Head of Product Management and other PMG team members. Understand current, and emerging, trends and technologies in telemetry, licensing and data processing. Regularly validate that on-going product development is delivering value and meeting the outcomes of the specific workflows\use case(s). Present current state of development to internal and external stakeholders to obtain feedback and reflect this feedback in subsequent user story refinement and prioritization. Be the Voice of the Customer, understand what customers need, will buy, and their business imperatives. Champion the vision and strategy of the products be able to articulate the roadmap and value propositions to all parts of the organization. Maintain an understanding of the IQGeo technology stack and how that relates to license management. Understand the competition and their positioning and respond to this in the product vision and roadmap. As a domain and technology subject matter expert provide guidance and mentorship to other teams, particularly Engineering. Present and discuss products and related roadmaps with customers and at internal events. Participate in industry events to increase IQGeo’s market visibility and to influence market direction as a thought leader. Work with the PMG to implement and follow appropriate product management processes to ensure smooth and timely operation of all product management related processes. Perform other related duties, as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Strong product management skills\background able to contribute to and execute product vision and roadmap. Ideally experienced subject matter expert in telecoms and\or utilities with an understanding of product licensing and product analytics. Ideally have experience with handling geospatial data in telecoms or utilities domain to understand the challenges faced with geospatial data and data quality management in general. Have a solid knowledge\understanding of cloud-related technologies and approaches. Ideally proficient with product management software, e.g., Atlassian Suite (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, etc.). Experience with software engineering and agile software development lifecycles. Ability to balance competing priorities of stakeholders. Understand new technologies and their impacts and identify new opportunities based on emerging trends. Effective communication with remote/global teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Supervisory Responsibilities None Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) or GIS-related subject. 5 years of industry/technical experience.
