REPORTING TO - Business Unit Head
Job Purpose
This role sits within a Business Unit and forms part of the project team. The role is responsible for progressing the regulatory compliance for the launch territory. It is important that the required project pace is maintained and deadlines are met to ensure that products fulfill all necessary compliance in the requisite territory at the point of launch. The candidate must familiarize themselves with and interpret industry regulations, keep accurate records which track critical paths to expedite timelines, and communicate status to the wider commercial team.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Understand the current industry regulations in the relevant territory.
* Create and improve compliance policies and processes within the BU and help to homogenize across the units.
* Work with external regulatory bodies and accreditors in the territories to achieve registration and compliance.
* Foster relationships with relevant compliance bodies to fully understand their stance on vaping products and how best to cooperate together.
* Collaborate closely with BU project colleagues (designers, project coordinator), central Regulatory, and the wider BU team to align critical paths for expedited launches.
* Work closely with the R&D team to ensure all products comply with the rules and regulations of the destination countries.
* Create compliance documents that track progress and status to meet required deadlines.
* Consider central alignment with central Regulatory on reference documents and updates on what’s registered in which countries.
* Communicate with BU and wider team members to ensure stakeholders are up-to-date with information and progress.
Requirements
* 1-3 years of experience within a detail-driven administrative role.
* Ability to interpret regulation/legislation.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communicator; organized, methodical, pragmatic.
* Proactive in solving potential issues.
* Comfortable working under pressure with ever-changing priorities day by day.
* Positive attitude and can-do initiative.
