Job Purpose: As a Service Introduction Manager, you will provide a single point of accountability to manage the Transition of new (or modified) Air Traffic Management Systems and Services into NATS for Projects and other non-project change activities assigned to the Post Holder Provide an Intelligent Customer function ensuring the Transition Solution delivered by Projects supports Service Delivery (SD), the ATC (Air Traffic Control) stakeholders (ATC & Military) and the wider NATS business. Duties Include: Assist Business Support in the management and reporting of business demand. Provide input to 'Lessons Learnt' activities on the completion of all Projects. Share Project Transitions to support the local unit leadership team. Provide specialist, professional advice on Air Traffic Management Systems and Services Transition Requirements. Ensure that Transition Requirements are included in the Transition Design, in the Project Scope and Validated prior to Transition of new (or upgraded) ATM Systems and Services Plan and Manage the Transition activities, including: Plan Resources required to support each Transition activity. Manage relevant Stakeholders to achieve the required Transition with the minimal disruption. Ensure that ATM Services Safety and Service are not compromised during Transition. Plan, manage and deliver the Transition and Service Delivery Support Work Packages to quality, cost, and time. Ensure that Transition activities for all allocated Projects comply with the relevant processes and procedures. Manage Project Transition activities potentially across multiple NATS sites, adjacent Civil / Military ANSP sites and airports. (Travel may be required) Qualifications/Skills: Expected to have an HNC in Engineering or an Information Technology related discipline, (or an equivalent qualification), and relevant experience and have demonstrated ability to carry out technical work to this level Contribute within a cross functional team within a Matrix Organisation Can engage and manage communications with technical experts within the organisation Knowledge of and working experience in Project Environments Proven experience in a similar field Good knowledge of technical processes and standards, and a wide understanding of business objectives that demonstrate the capability for a fast learning curve Understanding, and reviewing reports written by others and writing documents forming part of the formal documentation of a change, minutes of a formal meeting or a formal report The post holder will be expected to carry out some transition events during planned out of hours, you will be financially rewarded for working outside of normal working hours.
