This is a very exciting time to join The Calder Learning Trust having recently become part of the Pennine Alliance Learning Trust.
We are seeking to appoint a Head of 3D Design Technology, the main purpose of the role:
* To raise the attainment of students in Design Technology and the 3D design course.
* To implement and deliver an appropriate 3D and Product Design curriculum for students and to support student progress.
* To analyse departmental data and plan effective teaching and intervention strategies for key groups.
* To liaise with colleagues to ensure continuity of provision across Key Stage 2 and 3.
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a Technology teacher.
* To support the Head of Faculty in the leadership of 3D Design Technology.
* This would be a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual who can support the move from DT to 3D Design and implement a new, exciting curriculum within this area of the faculty.

Liaising with: Head/Deputies/Assistant Heads, Head of Year, teaching/support staff, LA representatives, external agencies and parents
