Humbercare's Housing Related Support Service in Hull is looking to recruit for the exciting role of Social Inclusion Officer.
The role will include leading on promoting service user social inclusion through facilitating focus groups and activities within the service and supporting service user access externally through local community groups and agencies, with the aim to increase daily living/social skills, positive mental health, social development and wellbeing, supporting appropriate use of time, to enable service users to fulfil their potential for independence, choice, inclusion and control as well as and leading and representing the service in forging and maintaining positive relationships with local community groups, residents and businesses.
We are looking for someone with;
Knowledge of the issues faced by customers that have been homeless, have complex needs or that have gone through the Criminal Justice System
Working experience of dealing with complex service users/customers/public
Working knowledge of the principles of risk assessment of an individual, environment or activity
Salary - £19,656 per annum
