About the role:
Working Hours: 1pm - 10pm to align with U.S. time
1. Ensure compliance of the company Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOP and laws/regulations from PR to the payment process
2. Purchase qualified material & service following approved purchasing requisition at a reasonable cost to assure the supply
3. Ensuring cost and delivery targets
4. Identify saving opportunities, conduct price comparisons, negotiations and cost-saving programs for assigned categories/commodities
5. Participate in procurement activities from sourcing to legal contract as required
6. Communicate actively with the relevant stakeholders (supplier, requisitioner, commodity manager etc.) for an uninterrupted/efficient supply
7. Escalate critical issues to the relevant stakeholders and superiors
8. Evaluate suppliers to monitor and manage their performance to deliver a robust supply chain
9. Complete Supplier Business Reviews assessing the Supplier against (KPI)'s, (SLA)'s, expectations, established contractual agreements, delivery performance and quality
10. Liaise with operations teams to forecast demand and ensure supply adherence
11. Analyse usage to identify abnormalities, find root causes and resolve
12. Monitor supply chain, identify gaps and address
13. Harmonisation of delinquent supply with focus on risk mitigation
14. Work with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
15. Develop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive
16. Interact closely with suppliers and quality-concerned related departments to resolve quality issues
