We are actively recruiting a Healthcare assistant to join our Outpatients team / breast clinics at The Women's Health Centre, part of The Harley Street Clinic. As a health care assistant, you will work under the guidance of a registered nurse. Assist in organisation of clinics, chaperoning and assisting medical staff in outpatient procedures. Part of your duties as a Healthcare assistant will be to assist with the following: The smooth running of clinics, breast screening and results clinics. Working with all members of the breast care team to assist in the chaperoning and efficient movement of patients around the breast centre. Ensuring clinics start on time. Completing clinics with notes and paperwork correctly filed and clinic rooms stocked and tidied. Caring for patients who have received bad news and caring for those patients who are going through cancer treatment. The role requires you to position and manoeuvre patients and equipment daily. Flexible with working hours and needs of the department To assist clinicians with breast biopsies, dressing changes, examinations, ultrasounds and mammograms.
