We are seeking a Communications Lead for the Technical Directorate who will be instrumental in shaping and executing a comprehensive Communications Strategy that enhances awareness and fosters greater collaboration across the project. In addition to crafting the overarching strategy, you will play an active part in authoring and delivering communications and set the directorate up for success for long-term implementation.
Principal Accountabilities
Strategic Development: Design and implement a communications strategy aligned with the directorate's objectives, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.
Content Creation: Develop high-quality verbal, written, and digital communications tailored to different audiences, securing appropriate sign-offs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, technical staff, and external teams to ensure clear and timely dissemination of information.
Promote Successes: Act as a spokesperson for the directorate, championing the programme through relevant platforms.
Digital Presence: Manage and enhance the directorate's digital platforms to reflect ongoing projects and team achievements.
Monitor and Adapt: Track the strategy's implementation, gathering feedback to ensure effectiveness and drive improvements.
Lead by Example: Set communication standards, coach teams on best practices, and provide tools for long-term success.

Demonstrated expertise in preparing communication materials and strategic plans.
Strong ability to segment audiences and tailor messaging to diverse stakeholder groups.
Exceptional skills in translating complex topics into engaging, accessible communications.
