About Our Client
Seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a fast paced dynamic finance team based in Redhill.
Job Description
3. Establish and review credit limits for customers based on risk assessments.
4. Identifying incorrect charges on accounts through detailed auditing
5. Liaise with other departments to ensure that issues are resolved quickly & correctly, to assist customer in payment.
6. Conduct thorough credit assessments of new and existing customers.
7. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure credit limits align with business objectives.
8. Monitor and manage overdue accounts.
9. Implement effective debt collection strategies to recover outstanding payments promptly.
10. Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
11. Prepare and present regular credit control reports to management.
12. Provide insights and recommendations for improving credit control processes.
13. Ensure compliance with the company's credit policy and relevant regulations.
14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit files.
15. Document all interactions and actions taken regarding credit control.
The Successful Applicant
16. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, strong relationship management, to both external & internal customers.
17. The successful candidate will have experience in a fast paced credit control environment, and have an exceptional attention to detail.
18. You will be a team player who can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues with logical problem solving abilities.
19. Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
20. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
21. May be studying towards an accountancy degree
