Description
To provide technical support across electrical and mechanical disciplines, ensuring the department complies with current legislation, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, installing production and plant equipment, commissioning, analyzing breakdowns, and repairing machinery. The role involves identifying engineering improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, or safety, and performing duties with regard to environmental considerations.
Assist in training company apprentices, attend meetings as required, prepare concise and accurate reports, and stay informed about new technology to advise the company accordingly. Work strictly in accordance with all company H&S policies. This role may require working abroad.

Desirable Qualifications
* Qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, or NVQ)
* 18th edition IEE wiring regs
* H&S qualifications (IOSH or NEBOSH)
* C&G 2391-52 inspection and testing
