Working Pattern: Mon – Fri 8:30 – 17:30pm

As the HR Advisor you will deliver a comprehensive and professional HR service to managers, employees, and the HR team. You will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, maintaining and improving our policies, processes, and people systems to deliver an effective and efficient HR experience and service.

Principal Responsibilities include:
* HR Support and Advice: Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees, ensuring adherence to HR policies and UK employment law.
* Employee Relations: Assist with managing employee relations matters such as disciplinary and grievance cases, investigations, and absence management.
* Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the end-to-end recruitment process and oversee onboarding activities.
* HR Policy Implementation: Lead on updating and implementing HR policies and procedures.
* HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
* Reporting and Analytics: Produce regular reports on HR metrics and use data to inform decision-making.
Essential Criteria:
* CIPD level 5 Qualification
* 1-2 years’ experience working as an HR Advisor, and/or 4 plus years working as a HR Coordinator/Administrator
* Understand the employee lifecycle and how people practices can impact positively and negatively.
* Can build tools/reports to track achievement of outcomes and impact of people practices (KPI’s)
* Deep understanding of HR systems and how to utilize them effectively.

* Experience working within the awarding and/or education sector.
* Encourage others to recognize when they need help and share concerns and ideas.
* Maintain motivation and resilience through self-care and personal responsibility.
