LeadCancer Pharmacist
Location:Home based, with regular visits to sitesand corporate offices
Employment type: Fulltime 37.5 hours
Reports to:Group Chief Pharmacist
An exciting opportunityhas arisen for an experienced, highly motivated andself-directed pharmacist to support thegovernance of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy(SACT) across the business.
Workingunder the direction of the Group ChiefPharmacist and with senior clinical leadsthe post-holderwill:
* ManageSACT governance processes across the business (SACT Committee,policy andpractice).
* Manage the SACTtrainingprogramme.
* Develop andmaintain the SACT EPMA system used within thebusiness.
* Support SACTprocurementarrangements.
Thepost-holder will work closely with hospital based pharmacy teams tosupport the safe and effect use of SACT.As a member of the corporate pharmacy team, thepost-holder will provide wider support tothe development of medicines related policy andpractice across the business.
Candidates should haveexperience in working as a hospital pharmacist supportinghaematology/oncology services, experiencein policy or guideline development and inthe use of EPMAsystems.
