Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Data Analyst working 30 hours per week, to join the Suffolk Performance Team. The role would suit an individual who possesses a good level and understanding of Excel. The ideal candidate will have experience of communicating complex data sets to non-technical staff and developing Excel dashboards.
We use data creatively and intuitively, so that we can monitor performance against our KPI's and develop effective strategies to improve the patient experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to collect data against various KPI and produce graphs and analysis monthly, to support service development and governance.
This role requires working on site. Flexible working may be considered.
Main duties of the job
We rely on data heavily, so you must be both reactive and proactive in developing and managing reports for use by managers and the Business Support Team. You will engage and support clinicians, administrators and managers, and you will be the lead for a number of reporting profiles.
We are looking for a candidate who has a good level of MS Excel. They will be able to process raw data from other systems and create bespoke reports. A good knowledge of Pivot Tables/PowerPivot and the ability to present data in an easy to read format is essential.
You will work as part of a small team, but you will influence and support a much wider team. We are a friendly and supportive team, we promote collaborative working and we will offer the ideal candidate the opportunity to develop their skills using a number of systems and processes.
