You will be involved in a variety of tasks including structural analysis and design, liaising with the project team and clients, managing project costs and budgets, and conducting site visits and surveys. The Structural Engineer will join a Bristol-based firm offering structural and civil engineering services for residential, office, public, and commercial sectors. With a diverse client base, including local and regional developers, housebuilders, and architects, no two days will be the same. The current work pattern is based in the Bristol office, with some flexibility for hybrid working. The role involves some visits to client sites, so having a driving licence is a must.

What’s Required?
The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:
1. A strong academic background in structural/civil engineering plus commercial experience as a Structural Engineer
2. A goal of achieving Chartership, and the ability to design to the Eurocodes
3. Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load-bearing masonry structures
4. Experience with software like MasterSeries, TEDDS, and AutoCAD
5. Good communication skills and a can-do attitude
