The Recruitment Group are hiring for a Team Leader. As a Team Leader you will be working within the warehouse to ensure that all import, export, pallet network, groupage and storage goods are received, stored and despatched in an accurate and efficient way whilst managing warehouse operatives and making sure they are meeting business expectations. Team Leader responsibilities. Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines Ensure the team are working safely to ultimately achieve customer requirements Oversee and ensure completion of general daily duties Ensure deliveries are unloaded within given time scales and checked against purchase orders, reporting any errors to the parties concerned Organise and process customer orders, including to customer specific requirements and ensure timely despatch of stock Check orders after picking for accuracy advising warehouse staff of any errors in order to minimise future discrepancies Loading and unloading of imports and exports Manage warehouse operatives and make sure they are meeting business expectations Validate cleaning records Maintain good personal hygiene Report product safety incidents Watch for evidence of pests on site Ensure accuracy when loading vehicles, maintaining safe load standards Ensure specific customer order requirements are met and checked prior to despatch Load and unload vehicles in a safe manner using manual handling or fork lift equipment Assist with picking, packing, goods in and goods out processing when required Assisting with stock investigations and customer stock takes Ensure warehouse projects are completed and meet the required standards Ensure the customer receives a first class service in all operational duties carried out Demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure. Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met Unlocking or locking the premises dependent on shift Overall objectives will be further developed in line with the company’s strategic objectives. Qualifications & Skills Counter balance and VNA licences High levels of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience of working with warehouse management systems, ideally Access Delta. Experience of scanning picks and put aways Package and Working Hours Lives locally to Coleshill. Full-time role on shift basis working 06:00 – 14:30 / 11:30 – 20:00hrs with 30-minute lunch break working Monday to Friday.
