Hours: Bank contract - hours as and when required Salary: £24,518 per annum (pro-rata) Sponsorship: Not applicable for this vacancy A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT Our busy central warehouse receiving donated goods and distributing them to our shops requires extra help now and again. We are looking for people who are looking for flexibility in their working pattern to join a bank of staff ready and able to help cover staff sickness or when we have a backlog of donations to sort. What you'll be doing Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following: Providing a high standard of customer care to our donors Working as part of a team to achieve daily tasks Sorting and organising donations Loading and unloading of vans Picking and dispatching of shop orders WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements To succeed in the role of Warehouse Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills: Someone who loves working as part of a team.
